Bottomed

Yamtra uses dollar cost averaging (DCA) to buy token volumes based on its algorithm. If Yamtra cannot execute a trade for the minimum volume required by Kraken because of insufficient funds, your account will be bottomed.

You will know you are bottomed out by going into your Profile. Bottomed will be checked.

Read below to learn your options when your account is bottomed out.

Wait for your sell order to execute

Sometimes, patience is all you need to have. With Yamtra, on some days tens of trades will excute. Some days, you will have to wait patiently for your sell trade to execute. When your sell order does execute, provided you did not edit the order, you will earn a profit on the trade.

Add additional funds

If you add additional funds to your Kraken account, Yamtra will resume the bot on your account and continue to DCA.

Edit the existing sell order to exit your position at a lower price

In Kraken

  1. Find your sell limit order.
  2. Click Edit Order (Note: Orders that are partially executed cannot be edited.)
  3. Update the sell price to a value closer to the current token price.
  4. Save your order.

Note: You can minimize the chances of bottoming out by setting a stop loss percent in your settings.
